Patient being adjusted

Dr. Josh Cole gently adjusts a patient at Back and Neck Specialists.

Chiropractic Care

At Back and Neck Specialists, we provide traditional chiropractic care. A mixture of techniques and services are available. We will select the ones most appropriate to your unique problems and may use several during one visit.

If you have been to a chiropractor before and have a specific adjustment technique you prefer, let us know. Our goal is for you to relax, enjoy and fully benefit from your chiropractic care.

The following services complement our chiropractic care:

Massage Therapy

We recommend massage in combination with your chiropractic care. While chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the spine and its impact on the nervous system, massage focuses on the 650 muscles of the body. Both disciplines work together to help keep the body in proper alignment, balance and function.

Dry Needling

Acupuncture needles are used to reduce pain by addressing trigger points in the muscle. Once the trigger points are reduced the muscle is allowed to go back to a normal length. It is not acupuncture but is useful for those patients who might not respond to other techniques we use to improve muscles.

This therapy works for everyone, from athletes to those experiencing pain in the extremities, neck or back, or headaches. We only recommend this therapy for people that are comfortable with it. You will not feel the needle go in, but may feel a deeper ache as the trigger point begins to release.

golf ball and golf clubSports Fitness Evaluations

If you have an athletic injury or want to improve specific aspects of your game, Dr. Cole is ready to help.

For golfers, we take a functional approach by addressing the muscles critical to the golf swing and couple that with ensuring mobility where you need it most.

We will take care of any injuries and find out what is limiting your performance. You will have greater strength in the muscles needed for your swing so you can hit the ball longer, straighter and more accurately.

We will also contact your teaching professional to work with them on improving your game.
