Auto Accident Chiropractic in East Memphis

Dr. Cole doing back adjustmentA car crash can leave you with neck pain, headaches, back pain, or stiffness that shows up days later. At Back and Neck Specialists, Dr. Josh Cole pairs careful listening with modern diagnostics to identify what was injured. Every case begins with a detailed history, a complete musculoskeletal examination, and on-site X-rays to confirm the findings. We take a safety-first approach—if it isn’t safe to adjust, we don’t.

What to Expect at Your Evaluation

We’ll ask exactly how the impact happened—where you were hit, seatbelt/airbag use, whether you braced, and whether you were the driver or passenger. Then we check reflexes, range of motion, leg and arm length, and palpate tender areas. Targeted, on-site X-rays are used to confirm the exam, and we review them with you.

Bring photos of any injuries and vehicle damage you may have, if possible. We handle personal-injury paperwork and work directly with insurers and attorneys; same-day appointments are often available.

Care is evidence-led and measured. We use eight-visit cycles with re-evaluations to track progress across your range of motion, reflexes, palpation, leg length, and arm length; auto cases commonly require 24-40 visits.

How We Help You Heal

Your visits may include chiropractic adjustments to restore motion and reduce nerve irritation, muscle stimulation with ice to calm spasm and move inflammation, dry needling to release trigger points before an adjustment. If something doesn’t add up, Dr. Josh will order further imaging or refer you to the right specialist. The goal is simple: to reduce pain, improve function, and get you back to daily life quickly and safely.

Common Injuries We Treat After a Crash

After a thorough exam and X-rays, we tailor care to your specific injuries and goals. Common issues include whiplash and neck pain, headaches, mid-back and rib pain, shoulder strains, low back pain, disc irritation, and sciatica, as well as hip and knee pain, and numbness or tingling in the arms or legs. Most people notice early changes, and we pace our frequency of care to your response.
