Meet Journey Wallace, LMT
Patients at Back and Neck Specialists are in good hands with Journey Wallace, a Licensed Massage Therapist. She spent several years in the spa and beauty industry before moving into massage therapy, so she already understood how bodywork fits into a person’s overall wellness by the time she got here. Journey trained at Concorde Career College Memphis, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She was also chosen as a student ambassador while she was there.
Why She Became a Massage Therapist
Journey got into this field for a simple reason. She wanted to help people relax, recover, and feel their best, and that’s still what drives her work with patients today.
What She Finds Most Fulfilling
The reward, for Journey, isn’t really about the technique. It’s about what happens after.
Outside the Practice
Journey also gives back to her profession. Every week, she hosts a free tutoring session for aspiring massage therapists working toward their state MBLEX board exam. Outside of that, she’s usually cooking or out in the garden.
